The Southside Speedway in Chesterfield County, Virginia kicks off its 2016 season tonight!  For the first time, one of the cars will be featuring a Burnett & Williams logo, right on the rear bumper where the other drivers can get a good look at it.  Attorney Jim Williams and staff from our Richmond, Midlothian, and Hopewell offices will be on hand to cheer on Daniel Thomas and the All-Star Racing team in the Late Model division’s #99 car.

Races are scheduled on a number of Friday nights through the end of August.  We’ll keep you posted via Facebook on “meet and greet” opportunities, so you can come out a see the car up close.

If you haven’t been, Southside Speedway is a 1/3 mile oval track that is known as “the toughest short track in the south” and it draws drivers from the Richmond and Tri-cities areas, and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Track alums include Junior Johnson, Richard Petty, Darrell Waltrip, Bobby Allison, and Ray Hendrick among others. On Friday nights from April through August, fans can watch bumper to bumper action from six divisions including Late Models, Modifieds, Grand Stocks, U-Cars, Legends and Bandoleers.
