This week our Ampersand Campaign salutes the work of the Fairfax Falcons Paralympics Team. If you are feeling inspired by the summer olympics action in Brazil, the Falcons are looking for volunteers to help wheelchair athletes age 4 – 21 in Saturday morning practices at the James Lee Community Center, 2855 Annandale Rd., Falls Church.  These kids and young adults with a variety of disabilities are training to compete in wheelchair tournaments around the East Coast.

No experience is necessary, just a big heart and a passion for fast-paced sports!
